    Ankama has identified a number of DOFUS accounts whose security settings have been deemed insufficient. In order to prevent possible attacks, these accounts are now protected by the new DOFUS account security system. Ankama Shield has been activated on certain accounts for their own security.

Error: "An internal error (%) occurred"

The DOFUS client download or extraction did not complete correctly.

- Go to the DOFUS directory (C:\Program Files\Ankama Games\Dofus).

- Delete the file ".versioninfos".

> In some cases, an unnamed file may appear, right-click on this file and select “Properties”

> The "File Type" shows “VERSIONINFOS File”

> Delete this file.

- Launch the updater. It will then download the missing files.
