It is possible that during a transaction on the Kama Exchange, the amount of Kamas or Ogrines sold or received is not a whole number due to the exchange rate. For example, it is not possible to have 0.3 Kamas or 0.7 Ogrines, which is why different rules have been put in place to round the amounts received or sold.
Buying Kamas: When Kamas are bought with Ogrines, it is likely that the amount of Ogrines needed to pay for the desired amount of Kamas is not an integer. For example, Player A wants to buy the 50,000 Kamas on offer with an exchange rate of 29 Kamas per Ogrine. It follows that Player A should spend 50,000 ÷ 29, or 1724.13 Ogrines for the 50,000 Kamas. The amount of Ogrines actually spent will be rounded up to the nearest whole amount, giving 1725 Ogrines. The actual amount of Kamas received will be calculated from this rounded value. In our example, Player A will actually spend 1725 Ogrines and get 1725 x 29, or 50,025 Kamas. In conclusion, for a purchase of Kamas, the cost in Ogrines is always rounded up in relation to the amount of Kamas desired.
Selling Kamas: When Kamas are sold for Ogrines, it is likely that the amount of Ogrines received for the amount of Kamas sold is not an integer. For example, Player B wants to sell 10,000 Kamas, so places an offer of 10,000 Kamas with an exchange rate of 35 Kamas per Ogrine. It follows that once a buyer is found for the offer, player B should receive 10000 ÷ 35, or 285.71 Ogrines for their 10000 Kamas. The amount of Ogrines received will be rounded down to the nearest whole number, 285 Ogrines in this example. The actual amount of Kamas sold will be calculated from this rounded value. In our example, Player B will in fact obtain only 285 Ogrines and sell 285 x 35, or 9975 Kamas. In conclusion, when sellling Kamas, the Ogrines received will always be rounded down in relation to the amount of Kamas sold.
