For those most in need of protection… Shield activated!
Ankama has identified a number of DOFUS accounts whose security settings have been deemed insufficient. In order to prevent possible attacks, these accounts are now protected by the new DOFUS account security system. Ankama Shield has been activated on certain accounts for their own security.

DOFUS » Characters » My character's name has been changed. Why is this?
Character names are only changed as an exception and always by Ankama. This may occur in the following cases:
- it refers to a political orientation, ethnicity or a particular community.
- it is insulting or vulgar
- it is unpronounceable (e.g. ssdfzxjf would be forbidden)
- it compromises the account's security because it contains the name or part of the name of the user
- is is related to the background of Ankama's games (non-playable characters, heroes...)
- it is similar to the name of a moderator or a member of Ankama's staff.
Ankama reserves the right to temporarily or permentantly suspend any account which does not adhere to these rules, without compensation.
