Ankama has identified a number of DOFUS accounts whose security settings have been deemed insufficient. In order to prevent possible attacks, these accounts are now protected by the new DOFUS account security system. Ankama Shield has been activated on certain accounts for their own security.

No, only moderators and administrators will offer you the position of moderator.
The moderator or administrator who contacts you will never ask you for your account name or password, nor will they ever ask for anything in exchange for the right to become a moderator. If a player asks you for Kamas or an object in exchange for making you a moderator, they are most likely trying to rob you. Moderators or administrators who contact you will ask you to make an application either on the forum or directly by email (address@ankama.com only). They will never deal with your application directly in-game.
