Ankama has identified a number of DOFUS accounts whose security settings have been deemed insufficient. In order to prevent possible attacks, these accounts are now protected by the new DOFUS account security system. Ankama Shield has been activated on certain accounts for their own security.

DOFUS » Subscription » Selection of payment method » PayPal » I don’t have access to the PayPal method of payment. Why?
There are several possible reasons for this.
- Your account has just been created or you have just started playing DOFUS. In this case, please continue playing and try again within 48 hours.
- PayPal payments are not available from your country of residence. In this case, please choose another method of payment.
- Unusual access behaviour on your Ankama account (connection or payment from several different countries). Therefore, as a security measure and to prevent fraud, PayPal payments are not accepted on your account. Please choose another method of payment or contact support to discuss the issue.
- A previous payment was disputed and cancelled by you or by the holder of the PayPal account used. Access to your Ankama account is also suspended. Please contact Support to discuss the issue.
