ANKAMA ACCOUNT » My account's security » What is Phishing?
Phishing is a technique which allows fraudulent parties to obtain personal information with the aim of committing identity theft. The technique consists of leading victims to believe that they are a trustworthy third party before requesting personal information from them.
If you visit a website which has copied the appearance of an Ankama website, and you enter your account name, password, secret answer or other personal information, your account will no longer be secure.
Be vigilant and never give out your account information to any sites other than the following:
• support.ankama.com
• www.dofus.com
• forum.dofus.fr, forum.dofus.com, forum.dofus.co.uk, forum.dofus.es, forum.dofus.de
• devblog.dofus.com
• www.wakfu.com
• forum.wakfu.com
• devblog.wakfu.com
• www.dofus-arena.com
• forum.dofus-arena.com
Reminder:
- Ankama only recruits beta testers through the above sites.
- Ankama does not give out items, Kamas or XP.
- Ankama does not sell items, Kamas or XP.
Any site which recruits beta-testers or offers items, Kamas and XP and which is not on the above list, is probably a phishing site.
