For those most in need of protection… Shield activated!
Ankama has identified a number of DOFUS accounts whose security settings have been deemed insufficient. In order to prevent possible attacks, these accounts are now protected by the new DOFUS account security system. Ankama Shield has been activated on certain accounts for their own security.

DOFUS is continually evolving.
There are between three and four big updates each year. These updates add extensions to the world of DOFUS, corrections to bugs and adjustments to the gameplay. Following these updates, players must download a new version of the DOFUS client (either a patch or an entirely new version).
Since the servers are updated at the same time, players have to download the new client to continue playing. Aside from this, smaller maintenances are carried out every Tuesday.
