ANKAMA ACCOUNT » My account's security » What is a keylogger?
A keylogger is spyware which is installed on your computer. It records all keyboard manipulations and transmits them via internet. This type of program is used to reveal the login details of accounts. Keyloggers are usually hidden in other files or programs. You should be particularly careful of these programs if your computer can be accessed by other users (for example, in a company, a school or a public area such as a cybercafé) and when you receive files or programs from an unknown source.
