After the modifications made to the installation software on March 23, 2010, we were able to gather a more complete picture of the DOFUS 2.0 installation problems which I discussed in my precious announcement.

Thanks to this new information, we have identified the source of several problems, which will be corrected during the next update of the DOFUS client, scheduled for April 6^th, 2010.

With the function of this software vastly improved, we can restart the migration process!

We’ll see you on April 6, 2010 for the next phase of the migration. This time, we're taking two big steps with the mighty demon Rushu (EN community) and his number one sidekick Djaul (FR community) slated as the next servers to migrate to DOFUS 2.0.

The complete list of modifications available with the April 6^th update will be available in the Log Book forum later this week.

At 5:10 PM (GMT+1) all DOFUS 2.0 servers will have an unscheduled maintenance to correct an error introduced by today's update at 12 noon today. A bug appeared which allowed players to re-accept a stage of the Eternal Harvest quest and gain experience each time.

To correct this bug and remove its abusive concequences, all 9 DOFUS 2.0 servers will be restarted at 5:10, and rolled back to the saved state taken today at 12 noon (GMT +1).

All subscription presents and raffle rewards used between 12 and 5:10 will be immediately returned.

Tomorrow, on Tuesday, February 9th, 2010, there will be a special maintenance period for all Ankama sites in addition to the weekly DOFUS service update.

All sites, games and mobile Ankama applications will be unavailable from 7:00 AM GMT+1 until 9:00 AM GMT+1.

This service period will allow for an update of our databases and core code of our servers to improve their function and to prepare for the arrival of new features.

The DOFUS 2.0 servers will be rebooted every morning to improve performances.

This operation should take no more than thirty minutes and in general will occur from 10 am to 10:30 am (Dofus Time).

We do not expect to have to continue with this daily reboot for very long.

An unscheduled maintenance to improve our network performance will take place this Friday, November 27th, from 7h30 am to 8h30 am. All Ankama sites will be offline and the following games will be unavailable: DOFUS, Wakfu, Wakfu Guardians and Dofus-Arena.

Next to a chat problem, that is growing memory use on the server at heavy rate, to avoid a server crash we must reboot the server to fix the problem and avoid data losses.
