For security reasons, ANKAMA Support has decided to automatically activate Ankama Shield on all DOFUS accounts whose security settings offer little or very little protection.

Certain DOFUS accounts are weak in several respects, which inadvertently exposes them to potential risks (accounts which have already fallen victim to theft, identification problems, or which show connections from several countries, etc). That’s why the new DOFUS account security system has been activated for some of our players. If you are one of them, an e-mail will be sent to you using the address linked to your account.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind you of the following security measures:

- It is imperative that you provide a valid and secure personal e-mail address.

- Never share your log in details or passwords with anyone.

- In order to ensure optimal security, the password for your Ankama account must be different from the password used for your e-mail account (the same goes for those of you who use third party websites/forums).

- Always remember to log out of your e-mail inbox when you are using a shared or public computer.

- Avoid using or sharing the e-mail address linked to your account in public (for example, on certain forums or fan sites).

If Ankama Shield has been automatically activated on your account, you will be able to deactivate it, entirely at your own risk. In your own interest, we discourage you from doing so.
