I've forgotten my password – what should I do ?

A temporary break from the game, a memory lapse or a (bit too much of a) late night could all end up with you forgetting your Ankama password. But don’t worry, we’ve got lots of solutions!


Recovery via email

You can recover your password easily thanks to the email address associated with your account. All you have to do is use our email password recovery service.

Once you’ve entered your name and (possibly) your secret answer, we will send you an email with a link to change your password. Click on the link and enter a new secure password.

Now you can get back to your adventure!

Recovery via text

If you have already linked a mobile phone number to your Ankama account and you still have access to this number, you can also use the password recovery by SMS service.

Since the 28th March 2016, sending the SMS is free*, easy and available in most countries (see the full list

Once you’ve entered your name and the linked mobile phone number, we will send you a verification code by SMS. All you have to do now is enter this code and you will be able to change your password.

To avoid abuse, there is a text message limit per account and per number. However, if you use the service sensibly, you shouldn’t have any problems.

If, for any reason, you are unable to recover your password by email or SMS, don’t worry! All hope is not lost! You can contact us. It will be our pleasure to help you.

As changing your password is an important action, we will have to confirm that you’re the account holder. Please attach a copy (scan or photo) of an official proof of ID to your request.

If the account is confirmed to be in your name, we will send you an email to the email address of your choice that will allow you to change your password.
