What is a backup?

To guard against issues that may affect the game, all DOFUS servers perform an automatic backup four times a day so as to archive data linked to characters, house chests, guilds, paddocks, etc.

These backups don't happen at set times; they are performed four times a day, within the following time slots (Paris time):

  • 12 to 1:30 a.m.
  • 6 to 7:30 a.m.
  • 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • 4 to 5:30 p.m.

If you're already logged in, these backups are seamless and won't prevent you from playing your favorite game. Only the Kama Exchanges (KEs) will be inaccessible during this process, as they undergo a separate backup that requires us to temporarily suspend them.

However, if a player tries to log in to DOFUS during one of these backups, they'll be temporarily locked out. This downtime is fairly brief, so you won't have to wait long to get back to the World of Twelve.

Although this process doesn't affect the rest of the game and only partially restricts players' freedom, our teams do their best to keep these periods of downtime to a minimum, to provide an optimal gaming experience!
