To connect to an Ankama account, please enter:
- The login ID for your account
- The associated password
-
And if your account is protected
- by the Ankama Shield, use the security code that was emailed to you.
- by the two-factor authentication application via an app, unlock this feature through the app.
In the launcher
Open the Ankama Launcher.
If you want to log in using an Ankama account, click on "Ankama Connect"; this will be an account with an account name (login ID) and password.
For all new accounts created on or after August 24, 2021, the login ID will be an email address.
If you created your account through an external service (Facebook, Google, Apple, or Steam), you must click on the corresponding logo.
Warning: Verify that you're actually logged in to the account!
For a standard account, you'll be redirected to our website, where you'll have to enter your login ID and password.
Once this information is entered, you can click on Continue to be redirected to the Launcher. If your account is unprotected, you are now logged in!
If you are protected by Ankama Shield, a code should be emailed to you. Once the code is entered, you are logged in!
Warning: Be sure to check all of your email addresses; players will often look for a code in the wrong inbox.
If you're protected by two-factor authentication via an application, you have to enter the code that appears in your app (Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, etc.).
You can also unlock your account via text message, but there is a weekly limit on the number of texts you can receive, so we suggest that you always have access to your app.
Once the code is entered, you are logged in!
To add an account to the launcher, you have to click on the icon in the upper right corner.
Then go to "Account Management".
And finally, to "Add an account".
On the website (Account Management)
Go to any Ankama website and click on the Profile button.
You will be redirected to an authentication page.

The account's login ID is defined when the account is created. This login ID is different from the account nickname.
For all new accounts created on or after August 24, 2021, the login ID will be an email address.
So there are two types of account login IDs:
- Accounts created before August 24, 2021, which have kept their login ID, i.e. an "Account name".
- New accounts created on or after this date, for which the login ID is the email address entered when the account was created.
Remember that an account login ID must be unique. Therefore, it is not possible to use the same email address as the login ID for multiple accounts.
Can I change my login ID?
For accounts created before August 24, 2021, nothing has changed: It is still impossible to change your "Account name".
However, for new accounts, your login ID corresponds to the email address associated with your account. Therefore, if you change the email address associated with the account, your login ID will also change, and you will use the new email address to log in.
If you change email addresses, an email notification is sent to the former email address.
Can I still use the same email address on several accounts?
The email address must be different for each of your new accounts, as this will be the unique identifier used to log in.
What's the difference between a login ID and a nickname?
The Ankama nickname is not the same thing as the Ankama account login ID.
To log in to our games and websites, you use your Ankama login ID (either an account name or an email address, depending on when your account was created) and your password. It's imperative that you keep them secret.
In the forums and in the game, you are known to other players by your Ankama nickname (nickname plus a tag). It is visible to everyone.
You'll often see your nickname in emails sent to you by Ankama. If you need to find it again, please check the email address linked to the account.
