[DOFUS] Cosmetic and Skin Interface

Since the release of DOFUS 3.0, cosmetic items are now linked to the server you claim them on, not to the character.

This also applies to skins (faces, bodies, and poses) you can buy from the shop.

Please note: Titles, ornaments, and auras are visible in the cosmetic interface, but these will still be linked to the character that learns them.

How do you add/remove a cosmetic item or skin from the interface?

How do you transfer your cosmetic items with your character when transferring to another server or account?

You're seeing a yellow/red error on your cosmetic item.

How do you access the interface?

• Cosmetic Interface

  You can access your cosmetic interface directly in the game, using the shortcut Shift+C.

  You can equip/unequip a cosmetic item on your character by double-clicking on it or by right-clicking on the item and selecting Equip or Unequip.

  
   

• Skin Interface

  You can access this part of the cosmetic interface by clicking on the button at the bottom right of your character.
  
  
  Once in this interface, you can change your faces, bodies, poses, and colors for the character.
  

How do you add/remove a cosmetic item or skin from the interface?

• Cosmetic item

  • You can add it by double-clicking on it from your inventory or by right-clicking on Add to the cosmetics collection.
    
  • You can remove it from the cosmetics collection by right-clicking on Remove from the cosmetics collection.
    

• Skin

  • You can add it by double-clicking on it from your inventory or by right-clicking on Use.
    
  • You can remove it from the skin interface by right-clicking on Remove element.
    
     

How do you transfer your cosmetic items with your character when transferring to another server or account?

If you want to transfer your character with cosmetic items, you'll have to remove them from the cosmetics and skin inventory with the character you want to transfer.

Please note: If you've learned multiple classes' skins and would like to transfer them all, be sure to uncheck the box in the bottom left corner of the skin interface.

You'll then be able to remove your skins even if the transferred character is a different class from the skin you learned.

Once the cosmetic items are properly in the inventory, they will be transferred with your character.

You're seeing a yellow/red error on your cosmetic item.

• Yellow error

  The cosmetic item is equipped, but you haven't equipped a corresponding piece of equipment on the character.

  
  

• Red error

  The cosmetic item was learned in the past, but you then removed it from your cosmetics collection.

  Is it possible you removed the cosmetic item and transferred another character with it, or sold it in the marketplace once it was no longer linked? 

  You may want to check the bank, haven bag, and inventory of your other characters on the server.

  Please note: Never remove your cosmetic items on a character you're planning to delete.
