[DOFUS] DOFUS 3.0 - Known Bugs

Here is a summary of the most frequent issues present in DOFUS 3.0.

CHARACTERS

[Solved] My character's name is too long; I can't log in to the game.

[Solved] My character is stuck in Incarnam after dying.

[Not a bug] I deleted my pre-registered character. / My pre-registered character no longer exists.

After numerous verifications, the team confirms that no characters have been deleted. As explained in this FAQ and in this post, Support cannot transfer your pre-registered character or credit pre-registration rewards to another character.

[Not a bug] I can't find my pre-registered character.

Please check your inbox for a pre-registration confirmation email; it contains the account nickname with which you completed the pre-registration. Please log into that account. If this information is not present, you might have created a new account through a login button (usually Google's) and that the character is on that account.

You can transfer the character to another account (through the service available in the Ankama store), or continue playing on that account. As explained in this FAQ and in this post, Support cannot credit pre-registration rewards to another character.

[Not a bug] I transferred my character from one server to another but cosmetic items stayed on the original server.

If cosmetic items were present in the cosmetics collection (see "Cosmetics" tab in the inventory, above your character's image) at the time of the character transfer, it is normal that they were not transferred. Cosmetic items in the collection are linked to the account and server, not to the character. If you want the cosmetics to follow you, you must remove them from the collection and transfer them to the equipment in your inventory when transferring servers.


Please follow the steps below:

    • Create a character on the original server.
    • Open the "Cosmetics" tab in the inventory (above the image of your character).
    • Right-click on the cosmetics and choose "remove from cosmetics collection". This will send these items back to the equipment section of your inventory.
    • Transfer your new character using the server transfer available in the Ankama Store (to do this, you must comply with the restrictions indicated on this page. Among other things, if the server is full, you will have to wait until there is room).

[Not a bug] I bought a new face from the NPC, but I can no longer put back the one I had.

As stated in the item description, "Consuming this item unlocks the face and applies it immediately." Therefore, the effect is as intended. A popup window has been added to give more clarity.

If you want to change your character's face back to what it was before, you must use the face change service.

[Not a bug] My Veteran Rewards have been reset.

It's just a display issue; the progress has not been lost.

 

ITEMS

[Solved] I cannot remove the global pre-sentience potion from my petsmount.

[Solved] I can't enter the house, even with the code, because the game tells me that it's wrong.

[Not a bug] My cosmetic items have disappeared.

In the inventory (just above your character's image), there are now two tabs: "Equipment" and "Cosmetics". The ceremonial items and livitinems of all existing families are found there. More information is available in the changelog.

[Not a bug] I used an Astrubian Unlimited Color Change Potion, but it disappeared.

That's completely normal. This item was part of a special pack sold in 2023 that allowed you to change characters' colors without limitations for 3 months from the date of purchase of the pack. After the 3 months had passed, the potion no longer enabled color changes, but it remained in the inventory. With the update to version 3.0, if you try to use it, it disappears.

[Not a bug] My equipment has changed its stats / I lost some "exo" on shields.

As indicated in the devblog on the upcoming changes to classes and equipment, and more specifically in the changelog, several items have been altered. The modifications have been automatically applied and Support cannot intervene to restore the items to their previous state from before the update.

[Not a bug] Mimisymbicked items do not show the right appearance.

You need to free the item from the mimisymbic, this way the item giving the appearance will become a cosmetic item and you can use it as such.

 

NPCs / QUESTS / ACHIEVEMENTS

[Solved] Some NPCs (Non-Player Characters) are not visible and I can't progress.

I only have one character but the game says that my achievement has already been unlocked by another character on the account.

You need to unlock another achievement; when you recover the rewards, the blocked achievements will be validated.

[Not a bug] Oto Pylott has destroyed my items

Oto Pylott accepts all types of items in exchange, but will only return mounts and petsmounts that have the Globally Pre-Sentient ability before the exchange.

If at least one of the items is a mount/petsmount with the Globally Pre-Sentient ability, he will only return the mounts/petsmounts as well as the Globally Pre-Sentient Potions.

However, be careful, if you place other items in the exchange (including mounts/petsmounts without the Globally Pre-Sentient ability) these items will not be returned by Oto Pylott and there will be no possible restitution from Support.

 

FIGHTS

[Solved] Spell cooldown in Kolizeum

 

The Kolizeum is still plagued by other problems, which the developers are trying to resolve as quickly as possible.

 

KROSMIC DISRUPTIONS

I didn't get my Rivalokens.

As you have noticed, we've been experiencing some technical problems over the past few days, affecting the Back to Rush event and, consequently, the Rivalokens.

Please be assured that the game's technical teams are doing their utmost to correct the bugs encountered in order to provide you with the best possible in-game experience.
Compensation will be distributed in the coming days and will be communicated on the game's forum.
